Your storage, your clients, your tasks.
Your storage, not ours
Connect Amazon S3, Azure, Google Cloud, SFTP, OneDrive or Google Drive. Recording, video, transcript, summaries and exports are all written to storage you own, encrypted in transit and at rest. On every plan, the free one included.
Filed by client and project
Name the client and the project on any meeting. Then filter your meetings, tasks and decisions by them, or ask a question about one client and Brieflee reads only that client's meetings.
Tasks you approve
Action items arrive as suggestions. You confirm the real ones and dismiss the rest, and each one moves from open to in progress to done, linked to the line in the call where it was said.
Record Zoom and Google Meet calls.
The desktop app records either one from your computer. On Google Meet a notetaker can join instead. The write-up is the same either way.
Nothing joins
The Brieflee desktop app for Windows and Mac records the call from your computer, both sides of the conversation, so no notetaker appears. Use it where outside guests are not let in, and tell the people on the call that it is running. Download the app
A notetaker joins Google Meet
Connect Google Calendar or Outlook and Brieflee joins the Google Meet meetings you choose, or paste a Meet link. It appears in the participant list and posts a notice in the chat. If Meet asks, someone in the call chooses Admit.
Already recorded
Import a Zoom or Meet recording, a document or pasted text, and it comes back as a meeting with the same write-up. Recordings up to 100 MB; pdf, docx, txt or markdown documents.
What you get, without typing a word.

Before you start.
- Will people on the call know it is there?
- Yes. The notetaker joins as a visible participant and posts a short notice in the meeting chat saying the call is being recorded and transcribed. With the desktop app nobody sees a notetaker, so you tell the people on the call that it is running.
- Does it need Zoom's cloud recording or AI Companion?
- No. The desktop app records the call from your computer, so nothing has to be switched on in Zoom, and it works on a free Zoom account too.
- What if our Google Meet calls do not let guests in?
- Use the desktop app: it records from your computer, so nothing has to be admitted.
- Which computers does the desktop app run on?
- Windows 10 and 11, and Macs with Apple silicon. Download the app
- Which languages does it transcribe?
- 58 languages, including Arabic and Urdu. You choose the language, so it is never guessed.
- Is there a free plan?
- Yes: 3 hours of meetings a month, with no card. Pro is $15 a month, or $12.75 a month billed yearly. See every plan
- Where is it hosted, and is my data used for training?
- Our servers, database and stored media are in Frankfurt, in the EU. We do not use your meeting content to train models, on any plan. More on security and privacy.
